Our client, a large international engineering consulting firm, is currently looking to add a Senior Transport Engineer (Pr Eng) to their team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and design cutting-edge road and highway projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
Conduct thorough site evaluations, analyze data, and recommend optimized solutions for road improvement and maintenance projects.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including urban planners, environmental experts, and construction personnel.
Utilize the latest technology and software to create innovative road designs that prioritize safety and sustainability.
Oversee construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Professionally registered Engineer with ECSA.
5 years proven experience in road and highway design, construction, and maintenance.
Intermediate proficiency in industry-standard design software (Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of local regulations and industry best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically under pressure.
