In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing logistics operations across various countries in Africa.

As the Africa Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for optimizing transportation routes, managing inventory levels, and implementing efficient logistics processes to meet operational goals.

Responsibilities Oversee and manage logistics operations across multiple countries in Africa.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.

Optimize transportation routes and modes to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.

Implement and monitor logistics processes to meet operational goals.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Monitor industry trends and developments to identify new opportunities and make recommendations for improvement.

Manage and lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

At least 5 years experience in managing logistics operations across multiple countries in Africa.

Strong knowledge of transportation, inventory management, and logistics processes.

Experience in developing and maintaining client and supplier relationships.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of leading teams to achieve operational goals.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Proficiency in logistics software and systems.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Willingness to travel within Africa as required.

Fluency in English is required, knowledge of other languages spoken in Africa is a plus.
