About the role This position performs moderately difficult research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line. The role requires the ability to work on individual pieces of work, solve problems including designing program flow, effective coding, and unit testing. Responsibilities Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements. Write and review detailed specifications for system components of moderate complexity. Collaborate with development team members to understand requirements and translate them into software designs. Implement development processes, coding best practices, and conduct code reviews. Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.). Resolve technical issues as necessary. Stay updated on new technology developments and complete bug fixes. Requirements3+ years of Software Engineering experience. BS in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent experience. Proficiency with data manipulation languages. Proficiency in development languages including Python, NLP. Ability to write and review detailed specifications. Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
