R 34000 - R 38000 Monthly Basic Salary (Market related, Negotiable)
Our client based in Witbank is seeking a Technical Broker to join their team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical broking services on both new and existing clients, including the new renewal processes and ad hoc requests for cover. To ensure all commercial accounts are serviced in accordance with the companies Standards and working alongside an Account Executive and assist with data work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Matric
- Level 4 FETC Short-term Insurance Qualification Higher Certificate in Insurance
- Post Matric qualification is an advantage (BCom Risk/Accounting, BBA)
- RE Qualification
- Minimum 7 years short term insurance with 5 of the 7 years in a commercial account servicing, claims and underwriting capacity
- Strong Technical broking service experience
- Someone who is highly skilled in renewals, underwriting and has an in-depth knowledge of short-term insurance with strong expertise in commercial lines insurance
- Insurance knowledge to at least an intermediate level
- Ability to negotiate and place a medium to large commercial account
- Legal requirements of the insurance industry
- Claims knowledge
