Job Advert Summary Our company has a vacancy for a Store Assistant in the Maintenance Department, someone who is familiar with maintenance spares and must possess skills such as: great working abilities with attention to detail, can work under pressure and accurate record keeping.

Minimum Requirements Grade 12 is essential.
Knowledge of Maintenance spares and tools.
Previous experience in a storeroom will be advantageous.
A valid Forklift license will be advantageous.
Computer literacy.
Must be able to perform under pressure and without supervision.
Hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
Accurate working ability.
Good communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities Creating job cards.
Issue stock as required and ensure the recordkeeping is done for the stock issued.
Manage stock as required.
Monitor stock levels and ensure sufficient levels are maintained.
Assist with monthly stock takes.
Assist in and outside the workshop where needed.
General housekeeping of the storeroom.
Maintain an orderly, clean and tidy working area.
Carry out any reasonable instruction given to you by the Stock Controller.
