Key Responsibilities:
Design Development: Create, refine, and present architectural concepts, including 3 D rendering and sketch illustrations using Revit.
Documentation: Produce and coordinate detailed design drawings, specifications, and site development plans (SDP) for municipal approval.
Consultation & Collaboration: Meet with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent aligns with project briefs, budgets, and quality standards.
Technical Compliance: Ensure designs meet South African building regulations, site constraints, and sustainability standards.
Site Support: Conduct site inspections and coordinate with site teams to resolve design problems during construction. Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Masters degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
Registration: Mandatory professional registration with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in architectural design, particularly with Hospitality, complex commercial or residential projects, Villas
Attributes: Strong creative, aesthetic, and technical problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
Experience in hospitality, retail or large-scale mixed-use developments.
Knowledge of local South African construction methods and materials.
