Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintaining Financial Records:
    • Accurately record and update all financial transactions, ensuring completeness and consistency.
  2. Accounts Payable and Receivable Management:
    • Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile balances to maintain financial integrity.
  3. Bank Reconciliation:
    • Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  4. Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Payroll Processing:
    • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including deductions and compliance with tax regulations.
  6. Budgeting and Forecasting:
    • Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary goals.
  7. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations to uphold financial integrity.
  8. Communication:
    • Effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management regarding financial matters, fostering a collaborative environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software.
  • Ability to analyse financial data and identify trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in all financial transactions.
