About the Role We are looking for a driven Sales Representative (Field / Retail Partnerships) to grow and support our retail partner network in South Africa.
You will focus on signing, onboarding and growing new partner stores in your territory, while maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with existing partners.
This is a highly field-based role, involving frequent store visits and kiosk-based direct sales activities to drive performance, provide training and implement incentive campaigns.
Key Responsibilities Achieve and exceed monthly sales and store activation targets in your assigned area.
Increase merchant productivity and overall market share in your territory.
Ensure merchants who sold in the prior month are actively selling again in the current month.
Build strong relationships with partner retailers and key stakeholders, keeping their accounts healthy and active.
Support partners with day-to-day issues, helping them convert end customers using our platform.
Visit stores regularly to: Train sales teams on our products and processes.
Promote and roll out marketing materials and in-store campaigns.
Implement and track incentive programmes.
Analyse market and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities and strategies to grow your area.
Identify, approach and onboard new business partners that meet our requirements.
Keep customer and partner information updated in our systems, recording all interactions and sales.
Prepare accurate sales reports and performance insights for management.
Requirements Essential: South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
Own reliable car and valid South African driver's licence – this is a field-based role with frequent travel.1–2 years' experience in customer-facing sales, field sales, retail sales, or within the telecommunications / mobile / fintech or similar industry.
Post-matric technical or tertiary studies in a related field (e.g.
Business Administration, Communications or similar) – or equivalent relevant experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – able to build trust quickly and train store staff at different levels.
Strong result orientation with high levels of proactivity, organisation, perseverance and resilience.
Solid analytical and negotiation skills, with accountability for store performance and sales outcomes.
Comfortable working independently in the field, managing your own schedule and reporting clearly on activities and results.
