Midis Group is currently looking for a Sales Manager for Data & AI solutions , to join the Quest team in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Quest is an award-winning IT management software provider offering a broad selection of solutions that solve some of the most common and most challenging IT problems.
Sales Manager will be accountable for the promotion of respective products/services through a well-defined strategy and sound partnerships with existing and potential customers in the assigned country / region.
S/He works towards optimizing sales volumes, acquiring new partnerships and coordinating marketing programs and activities in line with the Channel team.
Responsibilities
Define the sales strategy and roadmap of the products/services line in the assigned country / region.
Establish sales budgets and targets and cascade to the team accordingly.
Grow the reference customers’ base with emphasis on new logos.
Manage the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to closing.
Specify market requirements for current and future products/services by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to existing and potential customers.
Lead the vendors’ relations in alignment with the company’s management and strategy.
Assist in building and maintaining a solid channel/customer database, analyze data and develop metrics to evaluate loyalty and new opportunities.
Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts and market development reports in line with business objectives.
Coordinate closely with the marketing team to design and implement marketing activities.
Oversee the implementation of targeted programs and marketing activities involving the Channel team.
Promote the company and its product line within the Region.
Put available systems into practice (salesforce.com CRM for leads, opportunity and deal registration management) for output efficiency and standardization. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales and Marketing or any other related field.
Proven track record in a Sales capacity within the IT industry.
