Our client in the Engineering sector is looking for a Resident Engineer to join them for a project in the Western Cape area.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Registered as a Pr Eng/ Pr Tech Eng
Minimum of 3 years experience post registration with ECSA
In-depth knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and design standards.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site leadership for all roadwork activities, ensuring compliance with design documents, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
Oversee daily site operations, monitor construction progress, and address any technical issues related to road construction.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Review and approve construction methodologies, work plans, and progress reports.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction quality, including materials testing and compliance with road specifications.
Resolve any engineering or design issues that arise during construction.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, meetings, and communications, reporting regularly to senior management and stakeholders.
