Full job description Performing unsupervised basic maintenance of Hospital facilities and equipment.

Repairs, maintenance of refrigeration, air-conditioning.

Unsupervised tasks will include (but not limited to): Cleaning of air-conditioning filters and ducts.

Servicing of cooling towers and air handler units.

General cleaning and maintenance of Hospital property.

Ensuring that the public areas are well maintained.

Assisting the Technical Manager with the maintenance and repair of hospital plant and equipment as and when required.

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 Qualification Basic knowledge and skills with all tools found in the facility1-2 years’ experience in a similar/related position Licence with own transport Standby duties Good knowledge of OHS act Computer literate Good interpersonal skills Plumbing Basic electrical knowledge Team player Between 1 - 3 Years
