About the role:

As the Project Manager in the STEM Incubator Center, you will ensure Operational excellence in all aspects of managing these projects.

Responsibilities:

These are the overall general responsibilities summarised under the various Key areas, however these are non-negotiable responsibilities
• Goals: Ensuring continued growth of the incubator projects within Star Schools via Fundraising, Project Implementation, Evaluation and Management. Use of Project Management methodologies and tools to achieve growth and sustainability

• Project Initiation: Compilation of proposals and reports for existing and new business.
• Develop and implement project plans.
• Compilation and vetting of all Service level agreements.
• Coordination of events to include Award ceremonies, assemblies, Welcome sessions and Project events/ training sessions

• Project Implementation: To host regular meetings with the (Department of Education) Do E
• Recruit and establish contacts.
• Induct project staff (Coordinators, educators, and service providers)
• Identification of value-adds for all projects.
• Identification of feeder schools to participate in programmes (in conjunction with the Do E)
• Ensuring the effective continuation and management of the programme
• Adherence to CSI Policies of Sponsors and Star Schools cohesively

• Project Management: Management of Educators, clients, coordinators, learners and key stakeholders, thus creating positive sustainability in relationship building Achievable through Project reporting, Resources Utilisation , Record keeping and feedback
• Analyse assessment results, identify problem areas and offer guidance to educators

• Budget Management: Budgeting and control of resources
• Negotiation of pricing and annual increases with various vendors, suppliers and other participating stakeholders

Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education or a related field. Project Management would be ideal but negotiable requirement.
• Financial literacy
• Proven experience in leadership and operations management
• An understanding of educational principles, trends, and best practices
• Excellent strategic planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and complex projects.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams , C Suite executives and other stakeholders.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to educational operations.
• Leadership experience, with a track record of motivating teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Fundraising and Proposal writing skills
