Responsible to provide hands-on engineering support to customers in the automation and mechatronics field.
Responsibilities:
Provide on-site engineering support for automation and mechatronics projects.
Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical and control systems for water and wastewater projects.
Collaborate with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure project compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation and control systems.
Prepare technical documentation, including reports, manuals, and project updates.
Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on all project sites.
Essential Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field).
Minimum of 3-5 years of field experience in project engineering, specifically in electrical and control systems for water and wastewater projects
Strong technical knowledge in automation and mechatronics.
Proficiency in electrical and control system design and troubleshooting.
Flexibility and willingness to travel and work on long-term secondments (6 months at a time) within the SADC region.
