Permanent - Operations Director - Johannesburg - South Africa

Manage and continuously develop the Mining strategy and operations through Technology and a team of team concept.

Identify and map key players in the industry and assist with the building of a Mining network within Sub Saharan South Africa.

Train, guide, and support staff in strategy, operational effectiveness, and technology execution.

Ensure the effective control and management of operational processes, from planning, collection through delivery and financial control, in accordance with the client’s requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, Project Management, Engineering, or Finance.

Experience:

1. 5 years working in a Supervisory or managerial role
2. Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a customer-facing role
3. General knowledge of Customs procedures will be an advantage
