is seeking a highly experience O perations Project Manager (Mining)

to join their team for

3 months fixed term contract in the Johannesburg North area.

Requirements:
NQF 7 (Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma) in Mining Engineering
Completion of a Middle/Executive Managerial Leadership Programme

Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
At least 7 years experience in a related role, with 3 years at a unit managerial level or in a functional/specialist area
Assertive, goal-oriented self-starter with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Creative and solutions-oriented
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Stress tolerant
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Medically fit to function in the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at a relevant Sibanye-Stillwater Occupational
Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributing to business planning and company strategy to improve competitiveness, profitability, and growth
Recognizing and anticipating operational, technical, and safety challenges, taking action to prevent or overcome them, and seeking continuous improvement
Participating in the estimation and preparation of cost budgets for projects or sub-projects and monitoring and controlling actual costs against budget
Proposing capital expenditure projects when required to expand capacity or improve operations
Contributing to project initiation, scope definition, and scope change control
Leading and driving Underground Operations continuous improvement projects and initiatives
Driving a culture of Safety ownership with a strong emphasis on behaviour-based safety.
