Qualifications / Requirements:
• Available to start immediately/as soon as possible
• Standard 8 (Grade 10) or Matric certificate
• +- 3 years driving experience
• Must have valid driver’s licence – Code 10
• Valid Dangerous Goods certificate
• Valid forklift licence will be an advantage
• Honest, loyal, reliable, and trustworthy
• A ‘Can-do’ attitude and a problem solver
• Team player and self-motivated
• Operationally a hands-on person.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate work within a deadline driven environment
• Ability to multitask and time management skills

Key Performance Areas:
• Perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed
• Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur
• Ensure the delivery vehicle is maintained and in proper running order
• Always keep the delivery vehicle clean and neat
• Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets diligently and correctly
• Check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note
• Responsible for fuelling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the Supervisor
• Attend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions
• Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company at all times
• Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an incident report form timeously
• Assist with weekly and monthly inventory count
• Housekeeping of warehouse to be done as and when needed
