Head of Shopper Marketing – RAMET
This position reports directly to the Senior Marketing Director and is based in South Africa/Czech Republic.

General Summary:
The Regional Head of Shopper Marketing, RAMET will lead and execute the in-store strategy across RAMET (Russia, Africa, Middle East, and Turkey), ensuring alignment with global brand toolkits while maximizing physical availability. This role is pivotal for driving in-store execution consistency, supporting multiple country teams, and fostering collaboration with local shopper teams to grow the brand’s presence effectively across the region.
- In-Store Execution Consistency: Drive consistent in-store execution across multiple countries, ensuring global toolkits are effectively adapted and implemented in local markets.
- Physical Availability Growth: Partner with markets and local shopper teams to identify growth opportunities, prioritize critical initiatives, and close physical availability gaps within the Kenvue portfolio.
- Shopper Insights & Behaviour Analysis: Partner with CBI to conduct shopper research across RAMET markets to identify purchasing triggers and barriers. Use these insights to shape in-store strategies.
- Channel Strategy Development: Develop channel-specific strategies to optimize brand presence in key retail environments (e.g., supermarkets, pharmacies, convenience stores), adjusting to regional preferences and retailer standards.
- Strategic Collaboration: Build strong relationships with global and local teams, aligning priorities and establishing workstreams that elevate in-store brand presence and consumer engagement.
- Collaborative Planning with Sales Teams: Work closely with country sales teams to align on joint business plans, ensuring shopper marketing strategies support sales objectives and deliver incremental growth.
- Training & Best Practice Sharing: Facilitate training sessions and develop toolkits for local shopper teams, equipping them with guidance on executing effective in-store strategies and maintaining brand standards.
- Measurement & ROI Analysis: Develop a framework for measuring the ROI of shopper marketing initiatives across RAMET, including both qualitative and quantitative metrics, to refine strategies based on performance insights.
- Market Leadership: Lead cross-functional initiatives in close collaboration with country teams to define and deploy strategies that drive Kenvue’s portfolio availability across various channels.
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree is required;
- 12+ years in FMCG, with a blend of 7-9 years in shopper marketing or retail execution and 3-5 years in sales or roles closely aligned with sales;
- Proven track record in shopper marketing, with experience in adapting global strategies to local in-store execution;
- Solid understanding of sales dynamics and retailer relationships to ensure alignment on joint business plans and support channel development;
- Ability to manage complex, cross-regional projects effectively;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with local and regional stakeholders;
- Expertise in shopper insights and behaviour analysis, with the ability to leverage data for in-store strategy;
- Experience in channel-specific strategy development to optimize brand presence across various retail settings;
- Proficiency in project management, able to manage priorities, and build efficient workstreams;
- Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, assess performance, and drive continuous improvement in in-store execution;
- Knowledge of physical availability drivers and experience using brand toolkits to drive impactful execution.
