Icebolethu Group is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the Permanent position of a Social Media Coordinator, who will be responsible for creating and administering content on all our social media platforms to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The incumbent will also oversee the community management team who respond to the social media queries. Minimum Qualifications Grade 12 Minimum 3 years qualifications in marketing and communications Qualification in Digital Marketing Experience and Knowledge Required Minimum 3 years industry-specific work experience Social Media Management background is a must Driver’s License (Advantageous)Own Vehicle (Advantageous)Skills and Competencies Required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Adaptability to a dynamic environment Strong attention to detail Good organization and planning skills A sense of proactiveness and urgency to complete tasks Creativity and basic design skills, including using Canva Key Performance Areas Create and manage the social media coverage of the group's activities and events Present the brand and its culture in an appealing and positive light Work closely with the marketing team and different business areas to cover products, events, and to profile the organisation Draw up monthly social media plans with clear objectives Produce monthly reports of the various platforms Good understanding of the Linked In platform and requirements to build the brand holistically, including as an employer of choice Meet required deadlines Communicate with contributing team members and follow up on deadlines issued proactively Use copywriting skills to produce accurate work Access social media platforms via cell phone as and when required, including weekends for events Excellent knowledge of the group's culture and knowing what the business entails to direct content and community management teams accordingly Identify ways to maximize and leverage social content in all forms of marketing Be able to add positively to digital marketing and SEO strategy Identify new/emerging social platforms that serve the goals of the group and keep management informed Find opportunities to promote our social media channels online and offline Grow the social media presence on all platforms Any other ad hoc duties that might be required
