This role is for a field technician to use his home as a based to service our clients in the greater Cape Town area.


doing site visits around the Western Cape Region. A company vehicle will be provided for
the site visits.
The description of duties are as follows:

Requirement
Skilled junior to mid-level IT support technician
At least 3 years’ experience of working in Windows desktop support, basic Windows Server
Support and basic Network Installation and support.
The candidate should be a technical hands-on kind of person able to, from time to time,
make use of power tools to mount brackets and install networking cabinets, mount antenna
poles etc.


• Windows Desktop Support (10, 11) - Competent
• Windows Server support (Server 2018 to current version) - Basic
• Understanding of Network Cabling, Routing, Switching VLANs, Wi-Fi – Basic
• Understanding of anti-virus and end point protection applications – Competent
• Understanding of Switches, Network cabling, Patching, Wi Fi - Competent
• Understanding of Network printing - Competent
• Understanding of Internet connectivity, routers, 3 G/4 G - Competent
• Understanding of Firewalls – Basic

Qualifications
• A+ , N+ and Microsoft certifications an advantage
