Maintenance Millwright - Senior Supervisor
Our client, a blue chip Manufacturing company based in Vanderbijlpark is looking for a person with the following:
Qualifications:
• At least 10 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Grade N3 onwards Technical mechanical and electrical studies strong hydraulically background.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize task effectively.
• Familiarity with maintenance management software and systems.
• Experience managing a team of maintenance technicians.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Management skills to obtain maximum experience in maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Developing and implementing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Planning and scheduling equipment maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, to ensure minimal downtime.
• Coordinating with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to schedule equipment maintenance and prioritize resources.
• Preparing maintenance schedules and communicating them to relevant stakeholders.
• Identifying maintenance requirements and coordinating with vendors to procure necessary equipment and spare parts.
• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, ensuring that all maintenance reports and documentation are up-to-date.
• Conducting regular equipment inspections and identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensuring that all equipment is maintained according to industry standards and regulations, as well as the company’s policies and procedures.
• Providing technical support to production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Managing and training a team of maintenance technicians to ensure that they are skilled and equipped to carry out maintenance task.
Working Conditions:
• The Maintenance senior Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment, which may involve exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards.
• The Maintenance senior Supervisor may be required to work overtime, weekends, or holidays to ensure that equipment maintenance operations are completed on time.
