Our client, a well-established dealership located in the Johannesburg North area, is seeking to appoint a Qualified Master Technician to join their service team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on vehicles
- Assist and mentor junior technicians within the workshop
- Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct quality control checks and road tests as required
- Keep up to date with the latest technical bulletins and training
- Maintain accurate service records and adhere to warranty procedures
- Support service advisors and workshop manager with technical queries
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
- Recognised Automotive Technical Qualification – Essential (Trade Tested Motor Mechanic)
- Certified Ford Master Technician – Essential
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified technician, with proven Master Technician status
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with dealership diagnostic systems and tools
- Excellent understanding of manufacturer repair standards and procedures
- Clean Criminal Record
