About the job:

Minimum Requirements:
Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
Qualified in Mechanic Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
Experience working in a production environment (food industry)
Have a good command of the Dutch language (Fluent in Afrikaans will be beneficial)
Willing to work in a 5-shift system and occasionally on weekends

Duties:
Ensure the optimal technical condition of an extensive and technologically advanced machine park consisting of 20 unique production lines
Act as the technical specialist responsible for resolving malfunctions
Perform maintenance, repair, modification, improvement, and adjustment work on complex machine lines
Guide contractors and collaborate with production staff to identify root causes of malfunctions
Utilize broad technical experience and dedication to improve machine park efficiency, safety, and contribute to 100% quality
Take responsibility for ensuring optimal operation of the machine park, working alongside colleagues to achieve this goal
