Qualification and Experience Requirement
Mechanical Engineering (or Diploma with reasonable experience).
8-10 years’ work experience in offshore lifting equipment operation and maintenance, at least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Must have excellent leadership skills and be able to motivate staff for teamwork.
Good in English language (reading, writing and communication skills).
Familiar with the use of computerized maintenance management systems such as CMMS System such as SAP.
Good working knowledge of MS Office programs.
Have proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of diesel engines, hydraulic systems and electrical equipment.
Be verified as competent by NVQ (or equivalent) skills assessors against the competence criteria for maintenance of offshore pedestal cranes, overhead gantry cranes, lifeboat, life-raft davits and winches.
Be verified as competent by assessors against the competence criteria for Offshore Crane Operator having completed Stage 2 by COMPANY approved training provider (TPI).
Be verified as competent by assessors against the competence criteria for Overhead gantry cranes by COMPANY approved training provider (TPI).
Hold Certificate of Competency.
