RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Reports to Plant Manager

Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices and people to support the operational departmental actions

Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning and capital spares optimization

Lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure ie. breakdown/reactive, corrective, preventive, upgrades etc.

Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.

Responsibilities includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment such as boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment etc.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

Technical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering degree

2-4 years experience in a similar managerial position

5 years minimum experience in maintenance and engineering roles in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Sound knowledge of boilers, steam systems, power generation equipment, stock control and store management

CMMS knowledge.

Sound knowledge of OHS Act

Sound knowledge and Experience in Labour Legislation

General Machinery Regulations experience is an advantage
