Established Cape Town based Engine Rebuilding Company seeks the services of a fully qualified and experienced Engine Fitter for our busy workshop. Common duties will include but not be limited to the Dismantling,measuring and inspection of all engine components,determining possible causes of failure,draw up parts list and engineering requirements. Once engineering is completed commit to the final assembly,including the measurement of bearing clearances,ring gaps,piston protrusions,valve timing settings,diesel fuelpump settings and finally testing and fitment to the vehicle. Successful candidates must have own tools,valid drivers license and be prepared to work off-site and after hours should the need arises. We offer a market related negotiable salary and Motor Industry Bargaining Council social benefits. This is a permanent position and available immediately.
