Senior Legal Officer Reference : NFR-KM-1 We're seeking a Senior Legal Officer for our client, a prominent Investment Management and Private Equity firm listed on the JSE. This role involves providing legal counsel across investment management, private equity, and corporate governance. Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities : Legal Advisory Services : Offer legal counsel on investment management, private equity, and corporate governance matters. Contract Management : Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and legal documents. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards. Corporate Transactions : Assist in corporate transactions, including due diligence and document drafting. Litigation Management : Manage litigation matters and liaise with external counsel. Policy Development : Contribute to policy development for legal compliance and risk management. Stakeholder Management : Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience LLB degree and admitted attorney with 1-5 years post-article experience. Strong knowledge of corporate law, VAT Act, and Insolvency Act.
