The Group Head of Legal will be responsible for the following:

Overseeing the operations of the legal department.
Giving accurate and timely counsel to executives in a variety of legal topics
Conducting legal training for staff, as and when required
Collaborating with management to devise efficient strategies.
Identifying and mitigating legal risks.
Developing and implementing legal procedures and policies to ensure the companys compliance with applicable laws.
Drafting, negotiating and vetting contracts, legal documents and agreements.
Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Deal with complex matters with multiple stakeholders and forces
Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to everyone in the organization.
Keeping up with current changes on all relevant areas of laws and contributing to the enhancement of the knowledge base of the companys legal function
Handle litigation
Representing the company in legal proceedings, working with outside counsel when required.
Requirements:
Experience in a senior legal position
Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial position
Conduct your work with integrity and responsibility.
Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.
Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation

Degree from a reputable institution
Admission as an Attorney or Advocate
Knowledge and experience within the Fintech and Gaming industry
