Who we are Teneighty is a small crew of storytellers who live and breathe visual work — from slick edits to motion graphics that speak.

We mainly work in the B2 B space — helping brands communicate big ideas through film, animation, and visual content — but honestly, if there's a good story to tell, we're in (corporate, commercial, documentary, internal comms).

The Role We're looking for a Junior to Mid Editor/Animator who's excited about making meaningful content, who thinks creatively about every cut, transition, and animation, and who isn't afraid to come to the table with ideas that make visuals pop.
If you take ownership of your work, aren't scared to try new techniques, and love telling a story with visuals — we want you.
Location Johannesburg, Sandton.
(Hybrid role – remote + in-studio days required)You'll need to be Joburg-based, as we collaborate in person regularly and shoots/post deadlines sometimes call for hands-on time together.
What you'll be doing This is a mixed edit/animator role, so it's varied and collaborative:• Cut footage and shape narratives for video projects• Build motion graphics and visual effects to elevate stories• Bring ideas into motion with clean pacing and good technical craft• Work with the team from brief to final export• Help push creative approaches — new ways of telling stories, not just the same transitions• Keep files organized, neat project comps, and clean exports• Sometimes brainstorm on set, sometimes at home — depends on the day Tech / Tools you should know• Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop• Da Vinci Resolve experience is a huge plus• Ability to deliver for multiple platforms (reels, social, long-form)• Bonus if you've dabbled in Illustrator, basic 3 D or animation principles Who we're looking for• 3–5 years practical experience (but if you're killer at 2–3 — talk to us)• You think visually before anything else• You communicate clearly and take feedback well• You can manage deadlines and know when to ask for support• A sense of humour helps — creativity without joy is just tasks• You're cool with hybrid work — remote some days, office other days• And yes — deadlines sometimes mean burning the midnight oil (we all pitch in)Perks• Hybrid work setup — flexibility when creative flow calls• A small team that's tight, supportive, and collaborative• The freedom to experiment (we actually want your ideas)• Clear growth opportunities — we want you to get better with us How we work We're not about strict office hours — we're about delivering excellent work.
