My client is looking for an HR Business Partner to join their diverse team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
Functions:Provide full HR/IR support and advice to employees and line managersEnsure that fair recruitment is followed in line with procedure and legal requirementsResponsible for establishing and maintaining an effective recruitment and onboarding processProvide day to day HR administrative supportProvide support in investigations for disciplinary and grievance proceduresObserve procedure and advise during disciplinary enquiriesRepresent company on CCMA casesDevelop and maintain constructive working relationships with UNIONKeep abreast of current trends and ensure that procedures are update with legislationParticipate on wage negotiationsEnsure compliance with EE planResponsible for the on-time submissions of the annual EE reportEnsure that the EE SD committee fulfil responsibilities and functionsEnsure that the site fulfils requirements in terms of EE section 19 analysisEnsure that section 20 of the EE Act is adhered to in all recruitment processDrive the implementation of the planned training as per the company WSP and compile the reporting of the annual ATRCo-ordinate training activities according to Training needs analysis of each departmentComply with SD legislation and SETA requirementsMaximise grant recovery from SETAUpdate job descriptions as and when requireParticipate in the evaluation of current and new positions according to the Paterson grading methodBe informed and updated on the subject matter of grading and provide adviseFollow up on the IPA process in line with policy and procedureInitiate and maintain constant and effective communication managers regarding matters affecting them and HR relatedEnsure that you remain an expert on all HR policies and are able to consult and adviseEnsure that all information accepted into the HR department is aligned to HR policyAble to provide advice on all benefits offered by the company such as provident and medical aid optionsAssist the Western Cape ACRs with HR related matters

Educational QualificationsA Grade 12 qualification3-year HR Diploma/ DegreeDrivers LicenceSound understanding of BCEA, Legislation governing HRProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)VIP Premier Payroll, ORACLE and HR systems experienceTime and Attendance systems knowledgeExperience in a pharmaceutical environment advantageousMinimum of 3 to 5 years of solid, work experience in human resources experience
