My client is looking for an individual to keep track of company expenditures,income, payroll and tax requirmentws to ensure that there is an accurate trail of all financial transactions.
Reord Transactions in the correct jounals and post the entries to the relevant ledger accounts by means of Pastel accounting system.
prepare trial balanaces Keep track of office equipment and stationary, purchanse new supplies as required and prepare purchase orders Ensure the supplier incoices and accounts are paid on time.
Issue invoices and statements of account to customers and ensure that customers settle their accounts promtly Ensure that source documents and other relecant paperwork are filed correctly Do Monthly bank reonciliations Manage the flow of Petty Cash Provide accountants and auditors with access to relevant financial documents and records.
Complete payroll functions in order to ensure staff are paid in an accurate and timely manner Comply with legal requirements by studying requirments, enforing adherence to requirments filing reports and advising management on needed actions Set up and reporting of monthly management accounts Set up and reporting of monthly graphic stats for management meetings Cash flow Management Set up and reporting of weekly cash flow statements and cash flow forecasting Reporting of weekly turnovers.
• Monthly reporting on Debtors and Creditors age analysis.
• Provide CEO with turnover forecast in the first week of every month.
• Provide CEO with previous months Invoices & GRV’s before the 5th of every month.
• Provide CEO with forecasting of payments for the 15th & 31st of every month.
• Provide CEO with information regarding large stock purchases and when the payments are due.
• Provide CEO with information regarding all orders, quotations and RFQ’s for end of site.
• Provide CEO with month-end spreadsheet by the 23rd of each month.
• Be informed of cut of dates including clients and mines, to make sure that all payments are on time.
• Manage annual company budget.
• Product costing analysis.
• Project costing analysis.
• Manage and Maintain the Cost Management System.
• General operations and admin function, compiling SOP’s and policies as needed in company.
• Maintain the financial health of the company.
• Analyses of sales results.
• Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.
• Preparation and administration of Quotations.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger and financial reports.
• PC proficiency including Pastel accounting software Candidates must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
• Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and an ability to determine financial solutions.
• Must be results-orientated and able to work bothindependently and within a team environment.
