Position: Key Accounts Manager Location: Midrand Salary: R500K Negotiable plus Benefits Describtion: Due to continued expansion our client is looking to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager to be based at their head office in Midrand. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a set of Key Accounts across Gauteng on behalf of the company and our strategic partners. Main Duties: - Manage commercial relationship with assigned key accounts to drive revenue growth - Develop, implement and manage growth strategy for each account - Utilise CRM software to map key customer contacts, understand key stakeholders and assign relationship owners internally - Perform a minimum of number of sales visits to assigned customers each week to develop personal relationship and drive revenue growth - Build and maintain customer contact base across Gauteng - Develop relationship with senior contacts at Key Accounts and understand strategic direction of the customer. Liaise internally to ensure Senior Management are engaged at appropriate level with Key Accounts - Perform Business Review with key customer stakeholders on Quarterly basis to summarise business/customer service performance and discuss progress of pipeline opportunities - Liaise with Inside Sales team to ensure quotes are issued in a timely manner and are quoted to maximise revenue based on market intelligence gathered - Liaise with Customer Service Team to ensure Customer Service Issues are resolved in timely manner and root cause identified. Act as escalation when required - Generate business growth by developing relationships with GAuteng and overseas partners through targeted sales - Present products at senior level to existing and new accounts, following agreed commercial strategy - Support the development of products to assist targeted strategy. - Report competitor activity and market trends back to group - Monitor industry supply chain patterns in order to target key verticals - Identify and secure new business opportunities - Ensure all potential customers are updated with developments and services available - Provide reports on performance and potential growth, against agreed targets. Qualifications and Experience Required: - BA/BSc with 5 years exp in key accounts FMCG sales - Key Accounts professional with strong business development skills - Proven record of business growth and exceeding targets - Extensive knowledge of the FMCG Industry - Ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment Desirable: - Previous experience in Customer Development and Sales - Previous experience selling specialised products including pharmaceuticals, OTC, FMCG
