A well established company in Bloemfontein is seeking a Responsible Pharmacist to join their group Essential Functions and Areas of Responsibilities: - Perform all duties relating to legal requirements of CPA, Pharmacy Act and Medicine and related Substances Act - Set up and provide training and support to Pharmacist Assistants along with Human Resource in planning and implementing training Matrix for the DC - Responsible for drafting, updating and monitoring adherence to SOPs and conducting related audits - Responsible for setting up and maintaining a Quality Management system in accordance to GWP - Sign off of related marketing material and advertisements to ensure legislative compliance - Main Signatory for signing off schedule 6 orders from customers - Assist with signing off scheduled register for record keeping purposes - Facilitate and assist with telephonic query resolution for all calls of a pharmaceutical nature regarding ethical lines or other - Handling a minor buying portfolio with respect to schedule 6 products - Ensure the accurate maintenance of the buyer portfolio ensuring all captured field details are current and correct by Procurement Admin with relation to product access - Ensure that all products procured and sold are within the legal and registration requirements relevant to the Pharmaceutical Industry - Monitor and participate in the stock taking - Conduct internal audits at regular intervals in terms of licensing requirements and standards to ensure compliance or to identify areas for corrective action - Ensure that credit applications and account access to scheduled medicines comply and concur with the current register details as held by the relevant authorities (SAPC, DoH, Other) - Responsible for opening and closure of the DC in line with the operations requirements - Required to work on alternate Saturdays in line with the operations requirements of the DC - Take an active part in DC management team - As a key-holder, be on the Emergency contact list and reasonably available should after-hour access to the DC become necessary - Perform any other ad-hoc work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by management Competencies and Minimum Requirements: - Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy and registration with Pharmacy Council - Computer Literate - Communication and Interpersonal Skills - Training Skills - Time Management Skills - Numerical ability - Expert level Standard Operating Procedures - Expert level product knowledge - Expert level general warehouse practice - Expert level Act 101 Personal Attributes: - Meticulous with attention to detail - Team work and support - Able to use own judgement - Professional, hardworking and a positive attitude - Able to take initiative and work in a dynamic environment - Able to manage stress when difficult conditions arise Should you meet all the above requirements, please send through a comprehensive CV to (email address)
