The successful individual will be placed in WC CDU. Primary purpose of the job: The responsibility of installing and maintaining systems and system compliance with staff in Medipost Maintenance of hardware and software Overtime may be required Required to work 2 Saturdays a month Network Cabling – on new projects, moves and maintaining IT support Hardware, Software, Desktops & Telephones Computer, Telephone and other devices moves Formatting and setting up, loading software and operational programs of PCs & Laptops Technical assistance via VNC/Telephone Scanning in faulty or damaged devices to be written off and destroyed Assisting in setting up Mitel phones for new users Working through tickets that are logged Closing tickets with full details Logging of tickets to COPFIN for faulty Kyocera printers Completing tasks in expected time frames and accuracy Mapping operational drives Loading of config files Loading and updating antivirus on systems Assist in asset tracking Reporting any network errors and problems to Network specialist Reporting any errors or problems that influence the incompletion of duties Assisting in annual/monthly stock take Assist in Technical Helpdesk when required QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM: Grade 12 Comp TIA A or other related IT professional certification IDEAL: Valid driver’s license Degree/diploma in ITEXPERIENCE: Minimum knowledge of ITExpert knowledge in how operating systems and software work Medipost App Microsoft Office and Windows Excel and Word Troubleshooting in Windows SKILLS REQUIRED: Excellent problem-solving skills The capacity to work well within a team Logical thinking Interpersonal skills as you will regularly be in contact with colleagues and/or customers The ability to prioritize your workload The capacity to clearly explain a technical problem to a customer/colleague Outstanding listening and questioning skills Verbal and written communication skills, listening skills, patience, empathy, conflict resolution, customer service orientation Specific Requirements/Other important information: Ability to prioritize large workload Ability to maintain policy guidelines within pressured situations Ability to act independently Ability to accept and take charge of projects allocated on short notice Willingness to work overtime during high-pressure periods“Medipost Holdings is committed to the promotion of employment equity within the workplace which is a driving factor in all recruitment decisions.
