Overview Job Title: Senior Mine Planner – Mining Location: Kwazulu-Natal Hire Resolve’s Leading Mining Client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join our mining team in Kwazulu-Natal.

As a Senior Mine Planner, you will be responsible for developing and implementing mine plans that ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective extraction of minerals from our mining operations.

Key Responsibilities:– Develop short-term and long-term mine plans in accordance with safety, environmental, and production requirements– analyze and interpret geological data to inform mine planning decisions– work closely with mining engineers, geologists, and other stakeholders to optimize mine plans– monitor and adjust mine plans in response to changing conditions and requirements– ensure compliance with all relevant mining regulations and standards– provide technical expertise and guidance to junior mine planners and other team members– contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation in mine planning processes– maintain accurate records and documentation related to mine planning activities Qualifications– Honours degree or higher in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.– Proven experience (5+ years) in underground mine planning, with a background in geological modelling in mining operations.– Proficiency in geological modelling software (Minex, preferred).– Strong knowledge of mine planning software (RPM Global – UGCS preferred).
