Electracare , based in Bredasdorp , Western Cape, currently has a vacancy for a qualified Industrial Electrician.

REQUIREMENTS:

Electrical Trade Test
Valid Driver’s license
Own Transport
Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
You should be familiar with all electrical systems and components
Knowledge on fault finding, testing of panels and installation of equipment
Hardworking and dedicated
Be able to work under pressure
Must reside in Bredasdorp and have own transport
Must be willing to work overtime and standby shifts (during weeks and/or weekends)
Must display good physical dexterity
3-5 years working experience in an Electrical capacity
Knowledge of PLCs, VSDs and Softstarters will be to your advantage
Duties include:

Examining and maintaining electrical components of the industrial equipment
Installing and repairing electrical components/systems
Servicing and repairing wiring and fixtures – Residential & Industrial
Examining and servicing high voltage systems like motors and generators
Cleaning, repairing, and replacing wires and circuits boards
Troubleshooting any problems with electrical equipment
Maintaining a record of maintenance and repair work conducted
Market related salary
