Our client, a well-established player in the FMCG/import environment, is looking to appoint an Imports Coordinator to join their supply chain team in Montague Gardens.
This role requires someone confident in managing the end-to-end import process, working closely with agents, transporters, warehouses, and clearing partners. It’s a critical support role within a fast-moving environment that demands precision, coordination, and the ability to deliver under pressure.
Based in Montague Gardens, Cape Town
4–6 years’ hands‑on experience in forwarding, shipping, customs, and warehousing
Proven experience liaising with transporters and freight forwarders
Strong understanding of Incoterms and international trade documentation
High‑volume or multinational import environment experience is advantageous
Solid Excel and numeracy skills
Experience in Syspro would be beneficial
Key Responsibilities Include: Coordinate deliveries with agents, warehouses, and freight providers (including LCL and airfreight)
Track shipments and confirm order details with suppliers
Submit accurate documentation to clearing agents and maintain schedule updates
