ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND – You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the my Time mobile scheduling app. If you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You should engage by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our contact attempts to confirm your interest in working shifts. If you do not respond, your employment may be terminated. Additionally, if you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated. Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it are critical to your success in this role. If offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the my Time app is where you can pick up the shifts you desire to work.

Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checkout, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

Communicating and interacting with guests to build an inclusive guest experience
Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services Typical Day / Responsibilities
Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required.
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
Scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
Inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events.
Know and discuss the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll, activate and use them.
Explain how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
Handle returns by following prompts and collaborating with leaders as needed to resolve guest issues adhering to Target policies.
De-escalate situations with leadership support to recover the guest shopping experience.
Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up and Registry guests.
Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests.
Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance.
Work safely, comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible.
Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns and maintain compliance with applicable laws; assist with Cash Office processes as needed.

Flexibility to pick up shifts (nights, weekends, holidays)
Active engagement to pick up shifts; you must work at least one shift within 5 months or administrative termination may apply
Ability to work in varying temperatures and weather conditions in some roles
Mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
