Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct thorough site inspections to assess and analyse fire safety measures
Collaborate closely with clients to address their specific fire safety needs and concerns
Design and calculate hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency in fire prevention
Prepare detailed and comprehensive fire reports summarizing findings and recommendations
Implement rational fire designs based on industry standards and regulatory requirements
Develop innovative sprinkler designs, integrating cutting-edge technology for enhanced fire suppression capabilities Skills & Experience
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a consulting environment
Strong understanding of SANS 10400 T codes
Familiarity with fire escape regulations
NFD publication (National Fire Department) would be advantageous
Proficiency in sprinkler design and regulations
Proficiency in Auto CAD Qualification
BEng/BSc/BTech in Mechanical Engineering
