As a Financial Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Prepare and verify financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Submit forecasts, cash flow reports, and stock reports on time
Analyze financial variances and present results to management
Track and resolve financial non-conformance with action plans
Ensure that actual results are reviewed and compared to the budget monthly
Prepare audit files and support internal and external audit processes
Ensure compliance with financial policies, IFRS, and legal regulations
Maintain and update the fixed asset register
Capitalize, depreciate, and dispose of assets correctly and on time
Perform annual asset verification and reconcile with the general ledger
Ensure compliance with SMETA and internal HR governance standards
Respond to audit findings and maintain a no-findings record
Follow financial reporting schedules and escalate major variances
What Do You Need?:
BCompt Degree and completed articles will be beneficial
3+years' experience
in a similar role
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Problem solving, numerical, analytical and computer skills
Good understanding of commercial and business awareness
Negotiation skills and the ability to influence and manage staff and external parties
Strong financial skills
