A global leader in optical innovation, is looking for a highly motivated Associate Finance Controller to join our dynamic finance team
As a
Finance Controller,
you will be responsible for the following:
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in preparing accurate financial reports, providing insights into key business metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and regular forecasts, ensuring financial targets are met.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Support internal audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Cost Management: Monitor and analyze cost trends, identifying opportunities for cost-saving initiatives while maintaining operational excellence.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights and solutions to help drive business performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
Completed Bcom in Finance
Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
Proven experience in a financial or accounting role, ideally within a manufacturing or global business environment.
Strong understanding of financial principles and reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software (ERP systems experience is a plus).
Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to handle multiple priorities.
