As the Financial Controller, you will ensure accurate monthly reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with statutory requirements.
You will also help strengthen internal controls to drive efficiency and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Manage the debtors, creditors, and payroll teams to ensure efficiency and discipline.
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and statutory returns.
Support the Financial Director with budgets, forecasts, Capex, and cash flow.
Implement and monitor internal controls to reduce risk and ensure compliance.
Oversee invoicing, collections, and claims while meeting strict reporting deadlines.
Build strong relationships with staff, other departments, banks, and external parties.
Develop financial policies, motivate staff, and assist with quotations and tenders.
Requirements Minimum Accounting degree with 1-3 years of commercial experience.
Qualified PA(SA) or CGMA with 1+ years of post article experience ideal.
Proven ability to implement and enhance internal control systems.
Proficient in working with Excel and ERP systems.
Experience working in the manufacturing or consumer goods industry is beneficial.
