Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports for multiple properties
- Manage property-related budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Oversee month-end close processes, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including VAT and property taxes
- Monitor cash flow, rental income, and operating costs across the portfolio
- Support financial reporting for lease agreements, acquisitions, and disposals
- Liaise with property managers and external stakeholders on financial matters
Skills & Requirements:
- BCom Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 35 years of experience in a financial accounting role within the property or real estate sector
- Strong knowledge of property-related accounting principles, including lease accounting, accruals, and recoveries
- Experience with property management systems (e.g. MDA, MRI, or similar)
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines across multiple projects
