Head of Operations (Infrastructure Fund)

An investment funding and development conglomerate seeks an experienced Head of Operations to join their innovative and dynamic executive team based in Centurion, Pretoria. The successful incumbent will be heading up a new Infrastructure Fund and managing all staff within the division.

The purpose of this role will be to oversee the operational and financial aspects of the fund, ensuring efficient management and supporting the investment team.

This successful candidate will have a keen interest in the infrastructure sector and a passion for project development and investments. It is an exciting opportunity for shaping and advancing the infrastructure needs in allocated regions.

1. Fund Administration

3. Compliance and Risk
4. Due Diligence
5. Portfolio Management Support
6. Team Management
7. Process Improvement
8. Development and implementation of compliance, policies and procedures
9. Vendor Management
10. Budgeting and Financial Management
11. Regulatory and Industry Developments
12. Support to the Managing Director

Education:

1. Qualified CA(SA) preferred
2. CFA qualified

Job Experience & Skills Required:

1. 8 to 10 years' experience in operations, within the investment management space required
2. Investment Management or Infrastructure Development industry experience essential
3. Experience with cost control and financial analysis
4. Experience in building financial models and dashboards
5. Risk management skills
6. Strong analytical skills
7. Strong presentation and communication skills
8. Strong business partnering and reporting skills
9. Business and financial acumen
10. Meticulous attention to detail
