Job Description

This role manages a small to medium-sized team of advisors to develop, maintain, and leverage relationships with prospective and existing clients. The goal is to stimulate and manage demand for financial products and services.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Direction: Communicate the local action plan, explain its relation to the function's strategy and the broader organization's mission and vision, and motivate the team to achieve business goals.
2. Customer Relationship Management / Account Management: Develop and implement plans for existing accounts, identify decision-makers, gather customer feedback, and ensure their needs are met.
3. Sell Customer Propositions: Use expertise to match products/services to customer needs, present solutions clearly, and negotiate concessions when necessary.
4. Sales Opportunities Creation: Identify potential customers through referrals, recommendations, and participation in trade shows and conferences.
5. Performance Management: Set personal objectives, monitor team performance, and contribute to performance appraisals.
6. Operations Management: Provide operational support and supervise transactional areas using existing systems.
7. Promoting Customer Focus: Develop internal communications and collaborate to meet customer needs.
8. Key Account Management: Support new and existing accounts, respond to inquiries, and assist in maintaining customer relationships.
9. Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting: Implement contact plans, communicate product launches, and resolve customer queries and complaints.
10. Budgeting: Track budgets and report variances.
11. Organizational Capability Building: Coach team members to develop skills.
