Job Purpose:
As a Business Solutions Manager, you will play a leading role in the management of several strategic partnerships and will have responsibility for the smooth operation and the revenues associated with these. In addition to the management of certain existing relationships you will also be responsible for the identification and onboarding of new partners and several other growth related projects. This would include overseeing the end-to-end process from opportunity assessment and business case development to proposition development and contracting. This position will require you to work collaboratively with various departments across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership management:
To oversee and manage several existing partnerships and working with a number of internal and external stakeholders ensure their effective management and performance.

2. Partnership and growth project identification and implementation:
To work with senior members of the organisation to identify new partner and growth opportunities. Thereafter, working with other internal stakeholders, lead the process of successfully concluding these relationships.

3. Customer-Centric Approach:
Apply your experience to ensure that associated products, channels and processes have a strong focus on the customer experience, usability, and appeal and are relevant for the strategic partners and their clients.

4. Performance Analysis:
Continuously monitor the performance of existing partnerships, utilising data-driven insights to guide decisions and improvements.

5. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay informed about the regulatory environment in the financial services sector and working with the internal Risk team ensure that all products, partnerships and their management meet compliance standards.

6. Budget Management:
Effectively manage the budget allocated to the partnership in question and work with partners to ensure these budgets are met.

Minimum Requirements

• Relevant business bachelor’s degree in (Business, Finance, Economics etc)
• Honours or master’s degree preferable

• 7-10 years’ relevant experience
• Preferably in a management consulting, banking, financial services or deal making with experience in dealing with senior stakeholders.

• Customer-Centric Mindset A deep understanding of customer needs and preferences with the ability to translate them into proposition strategies and features. Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, customer behaviour, and market trends.
• Market Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the financial services and/or banking products, including trends and regulatory requirement
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to make informed decisions.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience operating with partners and senior audiences. Must possess a professional and friendly attitude and be able to quickly develop a rapport with clients.
• Project Management Experience: Working closely with the IT and Project Management Teams to deliver projects and features in accordance with agreed roadmaps.
• Legal agreements and contracting: Previous experience in negotiating and concluding commercial agreements.
