Business Intelligence (BI)

What Youll Be Trusted To Do:
Lead, mentor, and grow a skilled BI development team.
Define and execute the BI strategy in alignment with enterprise data goals.
Collaborate with the CIO and Enterprise Architect to ensure fit-for-purpose architecture and tooling.
Drive innovation, technical best practices, and a high-performance team culture.
Build and manage modern reporting, data integration, and dashboarding platforms using the full Microsoft BI stack.
Work across departments to understand data needs, drive accuracy, and ensure robust data governance.
Develop scalable and secure data solutions that support business continuity, insights, and advanced analytics.

Your Technical Toolbox Should Include:
SQL, Power BI, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Azure Synapse, ADF, AAS, and Databricks
Integration with complex and diverse source systems (on-prem, vendor, and cloud)
Strong ETL development and data warehousing experience
Data lake and big data architecture exposure (advantageous)
Dev Ops, version control, and automated testing tools
Experience with extremely large data volumes

What Were Looking For:
78 years of experience in BI or data analytics roles
3+ years in a management or supervisory position
Relevant Degree in IT or Computer Science; Microsoft BI certifications preferred
Strong problem-solving and data modelling skills
Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end BI solutions
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
Insurance or financial services experience is a strong plus
