Job Description

To facilitate the success of the testing efforts by driving quality advocacy, resource planning, management, and issue resolution. Act as a trusted advisor and specialist in quality engineering activities, providing guidance to improve quality, approach, and strategy. Responsibilities include coordinating reporting, monitoring defect resolution, managing risks and metrics, and ensuring compliance with standards. Drive automation initiatives, align testing practices with Agile, CI, TDD, and other modern engineering practices. Lead and motivate the team, ensure the availability of necessary tools and environments, and act as a change agent to improve organizational quality engineering capabilities.

Qualifications

• Final year undergraduate, Honours, or Masters Degree (completed or expected by 2025) in:
• Computer Science
• Electronic Engineering
• Informatics, Information Systems
• Information Technology
• Software Development
• Software Engineering

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be under 30 years of age
• No more than two years of work experience
• Minimum of 65% average across all years of study
