Job Description

To ensure innovative and customer centric value propositions through developing and implementing a strategic plan for partnerships and collaborations that aligns with the company's overall growth goals. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute joint marketing and sales campaigns that drive revenue and market share growth.

Are you someone who can:

  • Define the strategy for e Bucks partners and its eco-system in support of the business unit and group’s objectives.
  • Ensure group objectives are aligned to supporting revenue growth at a group level not just internally.
  • Manage different teams of Partnership Growth Managers.
  • Strategically and operationally manage the e Bucks Partner eco-system within FRG.
  • Play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of relationships with all e Bucks partners/suppliers.
  • Play a pivotal role in the identification and acquisition of strategic retail partners/suppliers for e Bucks.
  • Ability to analyse the retail industry, customer data etc to understand the key drivers to be used in negotiations with a partner/supplier.
  • Compile operational plans in accordance with business strategy and drive the implementation of these.
  • Deliver industry leading rewards member experience through the e Bucks partnerships and eco-system.
  • Grow e Bucks partner earn contributions and revenue generation with the objective of 50/50 funding.
  • Build co-funded models to stretch funding further.
  • Ensure customer experience meets organisational standards and aligns to industry best practice by driving the IT implementation of enhancements on all platforms.
  • Define, negotiate, and manage overall and subsequent agreements with external partners/suppliers in conjunction with legal, ensuring optimal value.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the annual budget by providing relevant information for both income and expenditure.
  • Achieve the Net Income Return for the Business as defined in the Financial Performance Report of the Business.
  • Manage existing e Bucks partners and grow the portfolio.
  • Ability to research and understand the key role-players in a potential partner.
  • Improve business decisions by sourcing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analysing trends and data.
  • Manage own development to increase own competencies plan and manage performance, skills development, employment equity, talent, and culture of team in order to improve innovation, achieve efficiencies and increase competencies.
  • Anticipates, recognises, and meets the needs of internal and external customers, taking responsibility for maintaining the highest service standards and developing and sustaining productive relationships.
  • The capacity to be a self-starter and originator who maintains high levels of activity and produces a consistent high-quality output within agreed deadlines; is prompt and proactive in driving for results and sets demanding goals for self and others.
  • Use verbal and non-verbal communication skills to influence an audience and negotiate acceptance of proposals, plans, or ideas.
  • Understands organisational systems, structures, policies, and procedures and can navigate changing dynamics and power relationships.
  • Defines tasks needed to accomplish goals and assigns and co-ordinates people, tasks, and resources to ensure an efficient flow of work.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Required Qualification: B COM Honours Degree or any related degree.
  • Masters (MBA) degree will be preferable.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 7-10 years related experience.
  • Experience managing large teams.
  • In depth knowledge of e Commerce and/or retail industries.
  • Relationship management/acquisitions experience.
  • Deal maker or any exposure to deal structuring.
  • Strong commerciality and business acumen.
  • Background with/ good understanding of Business Analytics.
  • Experience in marketing and campaign management.
  • Background in project management.
  • Loyalty or rewards programme experience.
