Minimum Requirements:
Postgraduate Degree or NQF level 8 qualification in Law/Legal Qualification
Admission as an Attorney or Advocate
At least 5-7 years experience in a legal advisory level/role.
Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act and other relevant legislation
A very good understanding of the relationships between the company and its shareholder and strategic external stakeholders
Interpretation of statutory requirements and guidelines
Knowledge of National Treasury strategic planning and annual performance planning requirements.
Good working knowledge of project and programme management.
Good working knowledge of strategy and operational planning.
Excellent lobbying skills and ability to communicate across the various levels of government
