Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives increasing efficiencies and reducing costs
Lead and manage the operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance
Oversee the development and maintenance of operational processes, procedures, and systems
Develop and report on key performance indicators and pipeline management for the team
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. FICA, FAIS, TCF, POPIA, Employee Equity, ect.)
Manage budgets and financial reporting for operational areas
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and effective communication across Growth House
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors
Own and drive the financial advisor onboarding operational process end to end
Requirements
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in administration and services to financial advisers.
Proven track record of leadership and team management
Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Strong analytical and financial management skills
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or CFP
Experience with operational process improvement and implementation of new systems and technology (e.g. Elite Wealth, at Work, Xplan, Jira, etc)
Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards
